North Korea Presses U.S. for Talks

North Korea has again agreed to sit down with the US in multinational talks in what is thought to be a desperate attempt for financial aid, following its condemnation by the United Nations. This ask for direct conversation with the US follows a rare visit from a North Korean official, Ri Gun, to the US special envoy to disarmament talks. Conversation will undoubtedly include the disarmament of North Korea's nuclear weapons program, given that is what the UN is sanctioning punishment towards North Korea for.
