Tokyo Motor Show

The Tokyo Motor Show which began on the 28th, marked the unveiling of many new eco-friendly cars, with some not so green automobiles as well. seeing as this was a showcase of economicall cars in Japan, Japanese and Korean automobile makers were much more represented, with the majority of the cars there being made by Nissan, Toyota, and Honda, but also making appearances were Yamaha and Mazda. Yamaha introduced a small electric motorcycle, aimed at those not looking for the most adrenaline pumping drive. Mazda showed a hydrogen model of its minivan, identical from the outside, but releases zero emissions from its engine. Nissan showed off its battery powered EV-N, with styling very similar to the cube. There were also many other hybrids and electric vehicles shown at the show, but one noticeably not environmentally friendly car. The Lexus (owned by Toyota) LFA which sports a 4.8 Liter V-10 engine producing 552 horsepower. although Lexus has already began to buyers, they will have to go through these clients and select about 500 seeing as there will only be about 500 of these handmade cars, but if you are lucky enough you might see one by 2011 or 2012.
